Getting going


Well, the hot weather has certainly kick-started the moths once more, as the MV has had a good selection of species over the past couple of mornings, even if the overall numbers are still depressed. The year's first hawk-moth (a Poplar, above) and a good number of Scalloped Hazels were the highlights, along with plenty of other species that were new for the year.
